Bringing Healthy Water to The East Cape

Today the team visited two rural areas on the East Cape assessed for clean water systems:
Team Club Rotario Members Chris Geyer, Mike Koehn, Herardo Rodrigues,

The first distribution was in the rural foothills of the Sierra Laguna mountain range about 15 kilometers west of Santiago. The rural community is called Manzanitas.
Rural families and ranchers from the surrounding towns of Santiago and Panama assembled to receive individual systems. We trained and implemented 32 filters with the in-community leader, Fatima Mendoza, who will provide oversight and monitoring for these systems.
The second distribution was also in the rural foothills of the Sierra Laguna southwest of Manzanitas a community called Aguas Calientes. This community had also been assessed and rural ranchers and community members assembled. We trained and implemented 32 individual systems with in-community leader Fatima Mendoza who will provide oversight and monitoring for these systems.

Hoy el equipo visito dos áreas rurales en CABO DEL ESTE para sistemas de agua limpia.

La primera distribución fue en las zonas rurales a unos 15 km de la SIERRA DE LA LAGUNA, al oeste de SANTIAGO, la comunidad rural se llama MATANCITAS .
Las familias de las comunidades de los pueblos alrededores de SANTIAGO y PANAMA se reunieron para recibir sistemas individuales.
Capacitamos e implementamos 32 filtros con la líder de la comunidad, FATIMA MENDOZA, quien proporcionara supervisión y monitoreo de estos sistemas.
La segunda distribución también se encontraban en las zonas rurales de la SIERRA DE LA LAGUNA, al suroeste de MATANCITAS, una comunidad llamada AGUA CALIENTE.
Esta comunidad también había sido evaluada y los pobladores de la comunidad se habían reunido. Capacitamos e implantamos 32 sistemas individuales con la líder de la comunidad Fatima Mendoza. Que brindara supervision y monitoreo de estos sistemas.
